Are you looking for parenting strategies to help you address your child’s trauma history? TBRI® is a family-based intervention that is designed for children who have experienced relationship-based traumas such as:

  • Institutionalization
  • Multiple foster placements
  • Maltreatment
  • Neglect

Trust-Based Relational Interventions® (TBRI®), is an emerging intervention model developed by Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross (authors of the popular book “The Connected Child”) at the TCU Institute of Child Development. Workshops are led by Pam Shepard, LCSW, supervisor of clinical services at Holt-Sunny Ridge and Jessica Augsbuger, LCSW, branch social worker at Holt-Sunny Ridge. Pam and Jessica are both TBRI® practitioners and educators.

This is a monthly series consisting of the following:
